In 2001 I attended art-academy for about three months. Instead of making and studying art I locked myself up in my lonely room in Belgium and made music. I recorded 6 or 7 albums worth of weird lo-fi experiments and what i'd like to call 'Early noughties Fruityloops techno'

Most of the tracks on this compilation are early experiments in stretching, manipulating and distorting homemade beats and samples. My 'equipment' was a regular desktop PC and a very cheap microphone, the 10,- plastic kind. I didn't have internet and had never heard any proper 'noise' music, I still considered The Velvet underground and Aphex Twin 'Weird'. Brian Eno's 'Music For Films' scared me and The Pogues cheered me up.

This is a compilation of my favorite tracks in the 'Weird lo-fi Experiments' category.
